Mrs Yocheved Austerliz

Chairperson

Mrs Yocheved Austerlitz is Principal at a local girls’ college and has been in the education sector since 2002. She is passionate about progression routes and personal development for vulnerable girls and is an inspiring and dedicated leader.

Mr Abraham Fried

Treasurer

Mr Abraham Fried, a diamond dealer by profession, has 20 years’ experience managing local businesses and is meticulous about proper record keeping, processes and accountability.

Mrs Faigy Taub

Founding Trustee

Faigy Taub is a mother of 8 and the founder of Teen Action. As a parent of a low-income family from within the community, she is best placed to understand the needs of our beneficiaries. Apart from being a full-time mom, she is a community activist who is co-director of a women’s peer support group.

Mrs Sarah Bard

Trustee

Sarah Bard is a community activist, expert parenting coach, EFT practitioner and popular speaker on matters related to childhood, parenting and emotional health. She is a big believer in early intervention and is also a trustee at the Sonshine Club, a local charity providing out-of-hours activities for children.

Mrs Goldie Rosenberg

Trustee

Mrs Goldie Rosenberg has a wealth of diverse experiences, including teaching English and Science in primary and secondary schools for 12 years, acting as an education consultant, Quality assurance officer, Exams officer and currently the head of courses at a local academy.

5 young women elected annually by beneficiaries to represent them. They meet every other month, are represented at the AGM and join planning and consultation groups.

Ms Elisheva Phirer

CEO

Elisheva Phirer, a former beneficiary of Teen Action with 6 years’ experience working and volunteering in the charitable sector, manages the charity's functions. At 25 years, she brings lived experience leadership to our young people services and is the epitome of the young woman power we champion.
